Our approach

Our career programmes can be tailored to meet individual needs, but usually consist of an initial 1-1consultation which is used to gather pertinent information affecting employability/career choices/education choices.  You may be asked to complete a Background Questionnaire prior to this appointment.

The next step involves assessments.  There are a wide variety of vocational assessment instruments available to assess career and education futures.  In general, these instruments cannot be passed or failed, but are used to help develop a profile of you.  They may assess areas such as Ability, Interests, Personality and Values.

A programme generally ends with at least one further 1-1 consultation to integrate and discuss with you, all the information gained in the evaluation process and to generate plans.

It should be recognised that career consulting is not expert advice or therapy, but is a professional service designed to facilitate forward progress on career or educational issues of your choice.  All decisions remain the responsibility of the client and all discussions and material will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
